Licensed Massage Therapist, Cranial Unwinding I am a licensed massage therapist with advanced training in Medical Massage and Cranial Sacral Unwinding. These specialties allow me to identify the safest, most effective modality to use based on my client’s unique needs. I strongly believe that everyone is special and deserves their massage treatment to be so as well. My husband Chris and I came to Phoenix from our hometown of Anchorage, Alaska to be near my mother while she was ill. My mother is a constant inspiration to me, as she always encouraged my siblings and I to pursue our dreams and to find occupations that truly make us happy. Becoming a massage therapist allowed me to assist in her relaxation, comfort, pain relief and peace during the last years of her life. It also helped me to cope with the loss of my mother by continuing to help others in their life healing, after her passing. I have met so many wonderful people because of my business. Both clients and other practitioners have been very inspirational while sharing their life stories of healing. Seeing them realize they have the power to heal themselves, and that I am just the facilitator, is one of my greatest joys. The things in life we must do to take care of ourselves and to heal ourselves are not always our top priority because of other life responsibilities. I have priced my treatments to be affordable so that clients can make themselves and their healing a top priority. I love what I do. |
Amanda Clark
Licensed Massage Therapist, Medical Aesthetician I have been a Licensed Massage Therapist for 17 years and a Registered Nurse working in acute-care for 13 years. I’ve seen much over my years in healthcare and I’m a strong proponent of holistic preventative care: exercise, plenty of sleep, eating healthy, supplements when needed and reducing stress whenever and wherever possible. Reducing stress and pain is one of the most important things you can do for yourself, it is what led me to therapeutic massage. It’s best to ensure your entire being is cared for, instead of waiting until you are sick or hurt. I’ve used massage successfully for many patients in the hospital when medication wasn’t working. I have also developed a keen interest in skin health and rejuvenation, due to my own struggle with acne and the long term effects and damage it causes as you age. Treatments like Micro-needling, Botox and facial peels are several effective treatments with little to no downtime, that can rejuvenate and refresh your appearance. Make an appointment and come in for a complimentary 15 minute consultation. I look forward to meeting you. |

Licensed Massage Therapist I have been a licensed massage therapist for nine years. I also have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance education from the University of Nebraska. I have spent a large portion of my life training and performing in classical ballet and modern dance. This made me aware of how important it is to take care of the human body. It also made me aware of how to deal with injuries and possibly how to prevent them. During my time in school, I was able to study anatomy and kinesiology and apply this when teaching students. It taught me how different every one’s body is. Understanding our own strengths and weaknesses can help us to properly take care of ourselves. When I moved to Arizona from Chicago, I was excited to get my massage license and start a new career. I attended the Cortiva Institute of massage therapy. Being a massage therapist has added so much to my life. My goal is to provide the best experience I can for every individual. I am grateful for all the clients I have had the pleasure of getting to know. I am looking forward to working at Wunderbar Wellness and being a part of Mountainside Fitness. |
